Sanctification

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

'This is the will of God, even your sanctification.'

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

'This is the will of God, even your sanctification.'

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Follow holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

'Be ye holy; for I am holy.'

Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness; fruit unto holiness.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Present your bodies a living sacrifice... be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

Beholding the glory of the Lord, we are changed into the same image from glory to glory.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Work out your own salvation... for it is God which worketh in you.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The God of peace sanctify you wholly — spirit, soul, and body preserved blameless.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
