Image of God (Imago Dei)

From The King James Bible
Humanity is uniquely created in the image and likeness of God — male and female — endowed with dignity, moral responsibility, and dominion over creation. Though marred by the Fall, the image is being renewed in Christ.
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

'Let us make man in our image... male and female created he them.'
