St. Francis Prayer

From Alcoholics Anonymous — 1955 Second Edition by Wilson, Bill & Smith, Dr. Bob
The prayer of St. Francis of Assisi, quoted in the Twelve and Twelve as a model for Eleventh Step meditation, asks God to make the petitioner a channel of peace, love, forgiveness, and self-forgetting service. While not in the Big Book itself, it is one of the most cited prayers among AA members in connection with Step Eleven.
